Inject some colour into your home using a feature wall

Inject some colour into your home using a feature wall.

If you want to inject some colour into your room, but are hesitant about using bold colour throughout, or just want a quick makeover, then a feature wall is your answer.

A feature wall can add impact to a room without having to repaint all the other walls.

Pick out a wall you want to use as an accent wall. Try to choose a wall that is dominant in the room and one that does not have any doors or window in it. Often the wall you see as you walk into a room is the best choice. A wall with a fireplace or interesting angles and lighting on it will work well.

Often a feature wall works well in a neutral scheme room. Use either a specialty finish such as i.d Pearl or i.d Stone or a dark accent colour. Our favourite feature wall colours:

  • i.d Low Sheen Seductress
  • i.d Low Sheen Moulin Pink
  • i.d Low Sheen Matahari
  • i.d Low Sheen Pomp
  • i.d Low Sheen Patriot
  • i.d Low Sheen Dirty Denim
  • i.d Low Sheen Donkey
  • i.d Low Sheen Espresso Syrup
  • i.d Low Sheen Earthenware
  • i.d Pearl Finish Siren
  • i.d Pearl Finish Sea Garden
