This Arts and Crafts style seasonal or year-round home plan provides a classic exterior appearance and many functional and attractive features. The main living area, spanning the width of the house, has high transom windows, a coffered beam ceiling and built-in window seat. All rooms are generous in size. The upper floor, featuring a covered "sleeping porch" can be divided into two bedrooms and a washroom. There is plenty of attic storage.
The house is designed to maximize passive solar heat through southerly-facing main windows, and roof overhangs provide summer shading. The living area focuses on a wood stove or fireplace/stove for winter heat.
